James (Jim) Grey is thrilled to step into the role of Head Coach for the Georges River Rugby Club, Dropbears. With decades of experience in both Rugby Union and League, he brings a wealth of knowledge as both a player and coach, contributing to the success of numerous teams in XV’s and 7’s competitions. His coaching philosophy focuses on building strong teams and fostering a positive, inclusive club culture. Jim has coached at various levels, including Sydney Combined Forces, Sydney University Women’s program, Sylvania Rugby, and within the Defence Force, mentoring players who have progressed to higher levels of competition. Passionate about the future of rugby, he looks forward to working closely with players, coaching staff, and management to drive success both on and off the field.
